World Heavyweight kingpin Wladimir Klitschko has said that he is prepared to put his titles on the line against English Heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury and believes that the fight could take place in Fury’s backyard in the United Kingdom.

Klitschko is currently the holder of the World Boxing Association (WBA), World Boxing Organisation (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and International Boxing Organisation (IBO) Heavyweight Championships and successfully defended his titles recently – his 18th straight title defence against American Bryant Jennings in a unanimous decision victory.

The unbeaten Englishman is currently the mandatory challenger for the Ukrainian’s WBO Heavyweight Championship and having repeatedly called out the big man is finally set to getting his wish fulfilled. Speaking after his match against Jennings, Wladimir Klitschko said that a match between him and Fury will definitely not be taking place in the United States and added that the fight needs to happen in Europe.

He added that he knows the Fury is the WBO’s mandatory challenger and it is something he has to do. But he also mentioned that they have to figure out where the fight will take place, be it in the United Kingdom or in Germany and there needs to be talks held for that.

Fury believes his superior height advantage over the Ukrainian will work in his favour but Klitschko himself believes he will have no problems, stating that he is looking forward to this fight and mentioned that it is exciting for him because he likes to fight big men. He also mentioned that it is much easier to fight against the bigger men than the smaller ones.

Wladimir Klitschko also believes that the ambition of Fury will make the fight look a lot different than the one he had with Jennings and it will be exciting for the fans.
